Guide ring, also known as a support ring, is a part mainly used in hydraulic cylinders or pneumatic cylinders. 

It is installed on the piston or piston rod to play a supporting and guiding role, preventing the piston or piston rod from direct contact and friction with the cylinder body during movement, and protecting the cylinder body and the piston or piston rod from damage.
