Dust ring is a reciprocating seal installed on the piston rod to prevent external dust from mixing into the hydraulic cylinder.

Precautions for using dust rings: All dust rings cannot bear pressure, that is, they do not have a sealing function. Their function is only to prevent dust and must be used in conjunction with other seals; when designing, the lip of the dust ring should be avoided from contacting the piston rod hole or the opposite side of the wrench to cause it to be cut.
